Empaths and Nature

With the stress that constantly bombards us "sensitives", it is no wonder that stress-related diseases are running rampant, especially in the civilized world as a whole, and this country specifically. What unskilled empaths go through each day most people wouldn't even be able to function, but we somehow manage to get through the day functioning, with everyone's energy draining us, or bringing down the energy of our own body's "lightness". This is not what we are meant to be going through.

If you can imagine many eons ago before the Industrial Revolution, when we lived more instinctively, we pretty much went to bed early and woke up early and manual labor was the norm. Manual labor put stress on our bodies, yes, but for the most part our sense of accomplishment for our labors was true and genuine and people were happier. Many (or most) were outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and their minds were fairly calm and unstressed (of course they had worries but none as brutal as we experience today, I believe).

We still can get back to that place, even if for a little while, by spending quality time in nature. A walk in a park, or by a stream, or both, can invigorate and refresh you and prepare you for the day ahead, or relax you after a stressful day at work. Calming your mind, meditating on your breath, practicing mindfulness, being in the moment, all of these things in combination with being in nature, when done regularly, can serve to add years to your life.

We empaths NEED this - it is not an option!! When you are unskilled and pulling in other's negativity it wreaks havoc on our body/mind/soul/spirit and the stress has to go somewhere!

SO

Lay down the stress by that stream, or by that path, and come home refreshed and renewed. Or even if it is in the middle of your yard which you have made into a haven for yourself, it can still do the same thing, if your mindset is right and your intent is true.

So do it if you can!!!!
